Invite your co-parent

One of you starts the shared space in milinn and gets an invite code. The other parent opens the app and joins with that code.

Create the shared space

1. Open milinn and sign in.
2. Start a new shared space if you do not have one yet.
3. Find the invite code for that space.
4. Send the code to your co-parent in a normal message or email. Do not share passwords.

Enter the invite code

1. Ask your co-parent to install milinn and sign in with their own account.
2. They choose to join a space and type the invite code exactly as you sent it.
3. After it works, you both see the same expenses in that space.

If the code fails

If the invite never shows up or the code does not work, stay in the app and try these steps first.

1. Confirm both of you are signed in. The person joining needs their own milinn account.
2. Copy the code again. Watch for a letter O versus a zero, and extra spaces.
3. Ask the person who created the space to open the invite screen and send a fresh code if the app offers one.
4. If it still fails, reply to the support email thread. We will help. Please do not share passwords.
